Text Production for Novice Translators

Translator is a writer. This an essential understanding for “novice” translators, especially students in higher education that learn translation studies. Some cases (see Annisa, (2020), Nurlaila(2021), Aprianti(2021) show the language department faced difficulty to conduct tasks. Therefore, or novice translators have writing practice may enhance their skills. As involved activity, (novice translators) understand text production ability essential. In this case, write target necessary ease them constructing meaning idea of source language. Their brain will think aloud investigate what say (the text), perform structuring (finding proper word realize language), expression (construct words regarding on linguistic aspect) and revision (to check result translation, figuring out wrong thing led reducing text). Thus, it hoped task be accurate, acceptable readable.
